Asheville is not a big city, by any means. Neither by geographical area nor by population. But when you look at all there is to see and do, it seems to keep getting bigger and bigger all the time. Maybe that’s why national publications keep highlighting Asheville as the place to be – there’s always something new to discover.
The latest highlight comes from USA TODAY. It features a story on a Girlfriend Getaway from veteran journalist, travel expert and social media butterfly, Chris Gray Faust. Her travel writing focuses on unique, chic and boutique experiences for the sophisticated traveler. In this story, she spotlights, among other things, the River Arts scene; Old Kentucky Home, where author Thomas Wolfe grew up; a beer tour and dinner at Curate.
